Dua — Day 7 of Moharram (Maa Band)

Allāhumma innī ataqarrabu ilayka bi-ḥubbil-Ḥusayni wa ahli baytihiṭ-ṭāhirīn Allāhumma hādhal-yawmul-ladhī muniʿa fīhil-māʾu ʿanil-Ḥusayni wa aṣḥābihī wa ahlihil-kirām — al-yawmus-sābiʿu minal-muḥarramil-ḥarām Yā ilāhī, yā raḥīmu, yā raḥmān Naḥnu nadhkuru ʿaṭashal-Ḥusayni fī hādhal-yawm Wa ẓulmal-ẓālimīna lahu wa li-ālih Allāhumma kamā ṣabara al-Ḥusaynu ʿalal-ʿaṭashi wal-ḥarārah Ijʿalnā minas-ṣābirīnash-shākirīn Allāhummalaʿanilladhīna qaṭaʿul-māʾa ʿabni binti nabiyyik War-ḥamil-Ḥusayna wa ahla baytih Allāhummasqinā min ḥawḍil-kawthari bi-yadi Muḥammadin wa ʿAliyyin wa Fāṭimata wal-Ḥusayn Yā arḥamar-rāḥimīn

O Allah, I draw near to You through my love for Husain and his pure Ahl al-Bayt. O Allah, this is the day on which water was cut off from Husain and his companions and his noble family — the seventh day of the sacred month of Moharram. O my God, O Merciful, O Compassionate — we remember the thirst of Husain on this day, and the injustice done to him and his family by the oppressors. O Allah, as Husain was patient under thirst and heat, make us among the patient and the grateful. O Allah, curse those who cut off water from the son of Your Prophet's daughter, and have mercy upon Husain and his Ahl al-Bayt. O Allah, give us to drink from the Pool of Kawthar by the hands of Muhammad, Ali, Fatema, and Husain. O Most Merciful of the merciful.
