Supplication
Niyyat of Ihram for Hajj al-Mufrad
Recited after the salam of the two-rak'at Salat al-Ihram, to form the intention of Hajj al-Mufrad
اَللَّهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اُرِيْدُ الْحَجَّ الْمُفْرَدَ عَلٰى کِتَابِكَ وَسُنَّةِ نَبِيِّكَ، اَللَّهُمَّ وَ مَجِّلِيْ حَيْثُ حَبَسْتَنِيْ بِقَدْرِكَ الَّذِيْ قَدَّرْتَ عَلَيَّ، فَاَعِنِّيْ عَلٰى ذٰلِكَ، وَ يَسِّرْهُ لِيْ، وَ تَقَبَّلْهُ مِنِّيْ، اَللَّهُمَّ اِنَّا نُحَرِّمُ لَكَ لِحِجَّةٍ مُفْرَدَةٍ، اَحْرِمْ لَكَ شَعْرِيْ وَبَشَرِيْ وَلَحْمِيْ وَدَمِيْ وَلَحْيِيْ وَ عِظَامِيْ.
O Allah, I intend the Hajj al-Mufrad upon Your Book and the Sunna of Your Prophet. O Allah, hasten me to where You may detain me, by Your measure decreed upon me; so help me, ease it for me, and accept it from me. O Allah, we declare ourselves muhrim to You for a single (mufrada) hajj; I make sacred for You my hair, my skin, my flesh, my blood, my jaw, and my bones.
